26-11-2024 to 29-11-2024
TGANB organized a Campaign to all stakeholders of private schools, Universities and Companies of IT Sector in the State from 26-11-2024 to 29-11-2024 at Dr.MCRHRDI jubilee Hills,Hyderabad. Wherein Director, TGANB Shri Sandeep Shandilya, IPS (Rtd.), explained about Overview on Narcotics, interaction with stake holders by Sri P. Sai Chaitanya, IPS, SP, TGANB, Formation of ADC’s, Prahari committees NDPS Act by Sri K.Narsing Rao, DSP, Rehabilitation of victims and remodeling back to normal by Dr. Phanikanth (Psychiatrist) , and a demo on detecting Narcotics Drugs with Dog Squad (NDDs) by Sri P.Bixapthi Rao DSP. They took a pledge to make Telangana Drug Free and also given the Participation certificates to all of the participants.

Anti Drug Awareness campaign held at Osmania Medical College, Koti, Hyderabad. Sri Sandeep Shandilya, IPS (Retd), Director, TGANB educated the students about negative impact of drug consumption and serious consequences of drug abuse.

Campaign against Drug abuse was held at CMR Engineering College, Hyderabad. Sri Seetharam SP, TGANB educated students about the dangers of drug abuse and its consequences and encouraged students to take active part preventing drug abuse.

TGANB held an Anti-Drug Awareness campaign at Patnam Mahendar Reddy Medical college, Chevella, RR Dist. Sri Sai Chaitanya, SP,IPS, TGANB attended the session and educated students about the consequences of drug abuse and negative effects of consuming Narcotic and Psychotropic substances.

Under Mission Parivartana, an awareness program was conducted at the Sreyas Institute of Engineering & Technology, Hyderabad. This session was conducted to educate students on how students can be impacted by drug consumption and understand the serious consequences of drug usage. The awareness program was held by the Telangana anti-narcotics bureau and community educators and was attended by Sri Aggadi Bhaskar, SP,TGANB. The agenda of this program was to create awareness about drug demand reduction for a drug-free society and a drug-free generation.
Mission Parivartana
Under Mission Parivartana program Telangana Anti-Narcotics Bureau (TGANB) in collaboration with the Department for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Senior Citizens and Transgender Persons, Government of Telangana, Hyderabad has conducted a 3-day state wide awareness campaigns, several programs/activities such as Police Expo, Launch of Mascot, Edutainment stalls, Pledge Wall, Flash Mob, Graffiti, Fun Expo/carnival, Contests and prize distribution to the winners, entertainment/cultural programmes, Panel discussions etc. were organized from 24.06.2023 to 26.06.2023, to spread awareness about the ill effects of drug abuse with focus on youth, higher educational institutions and the society at large on the occasion of International day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking on 26.06.2023.
As part of it, the following programs have been organized within the limits of tri-Commissionerates, viz., Hyderabad, Cyberabad & Rachakonda:

Similarily, the following public and online campaigns were organized through out the state on account of “International day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking”.
- Rally: Organized awareness walk in all the districts with placards and banners with slogans against drugs.
- Ensured that all colleges should conduct and organize poster, essay and slogan competitions. The theme of the competitions was “Drug Abuse Awareness & What Makes You an Anti-Drug Soldier”.
- What makes you an anti-drug soldier – Pledge banners are arranged in all malls, prominent places and higher educational institutions for the public and students to pledge their support against the abuse of drugs.
- To promote hashtags (Drug free Telangana, Drug free generation and Anti-Drug soldiers) wherever it is applicable.
